no but women are so badass okay

because there will inevitably come a point in every woman’s life where she wakes up in a pool of her own blood and her reaction will be dammit now i have to do laundry

that is some suave superhero shit and you won’t ever be able to convince me otherwise

its true this happened to me i was like “shit now i have to actually shower today”

Reblog forever until everyone groks.

i didn’t know what grok is so i googled it

To grok /ˈɡrɒk/ is to intimately and completely share the same reality or line of thinking with another physical or conceptual entity

it scares me that you never know what someone is thinking or feeling towards you and everything that they say could be one massive lie

young person: we're constantly silenced because of our age, and are at a higher risk for abuse. we are assumed to be horrible people, and when a single member of our age category fucks up, it is attributed to all of us. we aren't allowed to choose what happens to our own bodies. in many countries it is legal for our parents to hurt us physically, and it is illegal for us to defend ourselves against them. our problems and emotions are written off as "teen angst" or "tantrums" and this can make it nearly impossible for us to get support. practically every aspect of our existence is put into a double bind. we're expected and encouraged to be depressed and even suicidal, and no one thinks there's something wrong with this.
adult: adult privilege doesn't exist because i had to work an extra shift this week.

i want to be a librarian when i grow up because i’ll get paid to tell people to shut up

How did I not think of this.

And you get to read all the books

Tumblr is the only place librarians are cool
